City of Gulfport Recreation Department
The City of Gulfport's recreation staff run the Michael J. Yakes Recreation Complex and Gulfport Recreation Center on Shore Boulevard, a community hub offering classes, sports and programs for all ages. Offerings include a Tot Time/VPK preschool program, school-age child care, Teen Night, dance and fitness classes, tennis and pickleball. The city also operates a senior center, more than 15 parks and several cultural venues.
