Estuary Quest Summer Camp at Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center

Estuary Quest is a marine science day camp for ages 6 to 12, held at the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center on the St. Pete Pier and at the Auer Marine Education Center in Tierra Verde. Campers snorkel, take boat rides, run science experiments, meet live animals and make eco-friendly art around a new animal theme each week; the Tierra Verde site adds kayaking and mangrove exploring. Camp runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., from early June to early August. Teens 13 to 18 can return through the Bay Futures counselor-in-training program. Weeks fill early, so register well ahead.
