Summer day camp at the New Tampa Family YMCA on Compton Drive for kids roughly 6 to 12, with a basketball camp running all ten weeks and a half-day swim-lessons camp open from age 5. Teens 13-14 can take two-week junior lifeguard sessions. The season runs from early June to early August, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free supervised care before and after; sign up online by the week.
