Specialty camp weeks at the Northwest Hillsborough Family YMCA on West Waters Avenue, including basketball and dance weeks for ages 7 to 12 and swim lessons camps for younger and older children. Each runs for selected weeks of the summer.
These week-long specialty camps run alongside the YMCA's traditional summer day camp, so families can book a sport-specific week instead of the general programme. Weeks are numbered through the summer, with each sport or age group offered on selected weeks.
YMCA members pay a lower weekly rate than non-members, and the Y's Open Doors programme offers fee assistance.
