A two-week aquatics leadership camp for 13- and 14-year-olds at the YMCA Camp Sierra in Carrollwood. Teens learn introductory skills for working in an aquatic environment, build leadership, earn volunteer hours and take American Red Cross CPR/AED, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications.
Junior Lifeguard Camp is one of the Tampa YMCA's teen summer camps and runs in two-week sessions on set weeks of the summer. Campers help support the aquatics programme while working toward their Red Cross certifications.
YMCA members pay a lower session rate than non-members.
