Summer Art Academy

Ten weeks of themed visual art camp in Dunedin, early June through early August, with studios grouped by age: Mini Masters for rising kindergarteners, Sizzlin' Summer Visual Arts for ages 6 to 10, iPad Explorations for ages 8 to 10, ARTS in Motion for ages 8 to 12, Mural Madness for ages 10 to 14 and Art Squad Teen for ages 11 to 14. Campers work in painting, drawing, mixed media, digital art and animation around a new theme each week. The camp day runs 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with aftercare until 5:30 p.m. for a weekly fee. Campers pack their own lunch and drinks, or can pre-order from the on-site cafe on Mondays. Limited scholarships are available for Title I students, and members receive a registration discount.
