Safety Harbor Summer Camps

Instead of one camp, Safety Harbor offers a catalog of short summer camps at the Community Center, City Park, the Museum & Cultural Center, the public library, Waterfront Park and Folly Farm, so parents can build a summer week by week from early June to early August. Choices span creative arts (clay, sewing, jewelry, graffiti art), enrichment and STEAM (LEGO, cooking, theater, magic), sports, farm animal care, and water and outdoor weeks with kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing. Ages run from about 4 through teens depending on the camp, and a Teen Leader Program serves students in grades 8 to 12. Registration opens in March, with early and resident-only windows before open enrollment.
