Junior Docent Art Camp is a week-long day camp at The Dalí Museum for kids who have completed grades 3 through 8 (about ages 9-14), with separate elementary and middle school weeks plus a mixed-age week. Campers learn to interpret paintings, explore surrealism in the galleries, make their own surreal artwork and mix in theatre games and yoga, then lead a gallery tour at week's end. Hours are 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with a later Friday pickup. Register online (member rates available); full scholarships can be requested and a waitlist is kept for full weeks.
