One-week summer camp for ages 7 to 11 exploring Florida's reptiles and amphibians, held at Pinellas County's Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center on Keystone Road and taught by herpetologist George Heinrich. Campers get up close with gopher tortoises, frogs, lizards and snakes while learning about their ecology and conservation. Camp runs 9am to 4pm for one week in late June and is capped at 30 campers. There is no before or after care, so drop-off and pickup times are firm. Registration packets are available at the Education Center or online.
