Clearwater Marine Aquarium Marine Science Summer Camps

Marine science camp that gets kids out on the water: snorkeling over seagrass beds, kayaking through the estuary, observing local sea life and learning how animals are cared for, plus behind-the-scenes aquarium tours. Open to campers who have finished kindergarten through age 18, grouped by age, with an advanced marine biology track for teens 15 and up. Sessions run June through early August in morning (8:30-11:30am) and afternoon (1-4pm) blocks, or combine both as a full day; a supervised Lunch Bunch bridges the two for a fee. Animal Encounter tracks include a poolside dolphin session. Camp meets in the RO Jacobson Education Center; register online, with member discounts and scholarships available.
