Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Nature Camps

Nature camp inside Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, a 400-acre city preserve on Lake Maggiore, led by staff at the Lake Maggiore Environmental Education Center. Campers spend their days outdoors on the trails learning to recognize Florida plants and wildlife such as gopher tortoises and alligators. Sessions run for all ten weeks of summer, with shorter camps during spring, fall and winter breaks. Registration is first come, first served in phases: scholarship applicants first, then Trail Pass holders, then the general public. Fee assistance is available.
